Increase of the minimum wage
The Government of the Slovak Republic has approved an increase in the minimum wage from 1 January 2018 from 435 EUR to 480 EUR per month, an increase of 10.34%. The hourly minimum wage is € 2,759 EUR.
This applies to work in the first degree of difficulty.
In the higher stages of labor demand, the minimum wage for level 1 (eg waiter, warehouse) is multiplied by the higher degree of labor intensity, which is in the second degree 1,2 (eg the cashier), in the 3rd degree of coef. 1.4 (eg nurse, accountant), grade 4 coef. 1.6 (eg chief accountant, driving instructor), at the 5th degree of coef. 1.8 (physician, lawyer, manager) and 6th degree coef. 2 (Director, Primary).
